With all the crazy freezing temps, I was so excited that there was one nice warm Saturday that we were able to go to the Stock Show! This was also part of my birthday present for Chase. (Not going to the stock show, but getting out of the house for the day and not having to worry about the house, yard, cars, etc.) I couldn't wait to take Jackson to see all the animals. He absolutely loved it, even though he was a little concerned at first.
Jackson and Chase in the petting zoo. He would NOT let Chase set him down.
He got a little more interested when he saw the ducks.
After a minute or two of looking at a duck, he wanted DOWN! He was going right up to them and petting them. He didn't even care at one point when a goat, about his size, walked right into him.
Waiting for Chase to bring us our lunch. (Sausage-on-a-stick = life changing.)
Such a handsome boy.
Helping Daddy put on his glasses.
Checking out the rabbits. He LOVED them.
Me and my buddy.
We also walked through the exhibit hall where they show all of the cows. Jackson loves to talk about cows, but he was not a fan of them. Probably due to the fact that the first ones we showed him were massive! On our way out, we saw a lot of horses, and he was so fascinated. I just loved to watch his little mind work as he looked at everything. It was so much fun and I can't wait to go back next year!
